Robert Stairs

Robert Stairs is a Field Applications Staff Scientist in the Bioproduction group at Thermo Fisher Scientific with more than 5 years of experience across chromatographic operations, process development, and bioprocessing. Robert earned his Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Maine in Orono, ME.

His career began over a decade ago in Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Tarrytown, NY. Since then, he’s developed expertise in early and late-stage downstream process development, characterization, scale-up, and technology transfer for monoclonal and bispecific antibody processes, as well as AAV based gene therapy programs.
