Reliable water jacket performance

Thermo Scientific Forma Water Jacketed CO2 Incubators combine precise CO2 control and offer a choice of advanced features combinations to provide outstanding temperature stability, and excellent parameter recovery characteristics. Water jacked CO2 incubators are a top choice for researchers in academic, clinical, biotech and R&D labs around the world.

Trustworthy water jacket technology

Water jacket technology triple-wall construction provides outstanding temperature stability supplied by dual layers of water and high-quality insulation. This supports excellent thermal stability, which protects cell cultures against ambient temperature swings and unexpected power outages that put cultures at risk.

Temperature loss from a power outage or extreme ambient swings can harm cultures. Product testing during a power failure in an 18º C (64.4º F) ambient environment showed the water jacketed incubator’s temperature gradually dropping just 1º C, from 37º C to 36º C (98.6º F to 96.8º F), in 1 hour and 7.6º C in 10 hours.

Features that meet the demands of your workflow

A number of features and options are available depending on the model of Forma Water Jacked CO2 Incubator you choose – these include:

HEPA filter airflow system – HEPA continuously filters the entir chamber volume every minute to provide an aseptic culturing atmosphere. HEPA-VOC filters can be chosen for removal of volatile organic compounds found in lab solvents and cleaning agents

Relative Humidity sensors – Optional RH sensors will monitor current conditions, display them on the display, and alert if the water runs low. They will also assist in automatically compensating for the effect of RH on CO₂.

Removable water pan – The Water Jacketed 3 models offer exceptional relative humidity control with a removable water pan

Stackable design – Forma Water Jacketed CO2 Incubators can be stacked to increase culture volume within the same lab footprint

Remote monitoring - 4-20mA signal output is included for interfacing with external data collection systems such as the Thermo Scientific Smart-Vue Pro Remote Monitoring System which provides external sensors and CFR-21 compliant software packages suitable for GMP environments.
