About This Kit
Human CTGF ELISA development kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant human CTGF in a sandwich ELISA format. Using the ELISA protocol, the recommended microplates, reagents and solutions, the components supplied in this kit are sufficient to assay human CTGF in approximately 200 ELISA plate wells.
This PeproTech ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant proteins in a sandwich ELISA format. This ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains enough material to assay the target cytokine in at least 200 ELISA plate wells. The ABTS ELISA Buffer Kit (Product # 900-K00), sold separately, is recommended to be used in conjunction with this ABTS ELISA Development Kit for optimal performance. This buffer kit contains all the necessary components to assay ten 96-well ELISA plates (included) and contains detailed handling instructions.
Target information
Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF), also called CCN2, is a member of the CCN family. CTGF is a secreted protein produced by umbilical veins and vascular endothelial cells. CTGF possesses an Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF)-binding domain, a thrombospondin type 1 domain, and a cysteine knot region. CTGF plays important roles in the proliferation and differentiation of chondrocytes, induces angiogenesis, and promotes cell adhesion in fibroblasts, endothelial, and epithelial cells.
