Cement is the main global construction material used for a plethora of different applications. It is important to optimize the production process to minimize the carbon footprint and maintain strict quality criteria. In recent years X-ray diffraction (XRD) became one of the main tools for process monitoring because the technique allows identifying and quantifying all constituents of final products and intermediate like OPC Cements or clinker and enables producers to comply with important international norms. Additionally newly developed decarbonized cement products heavily relay on amorphous compounds, where XRD is the most capable method of quantification. Join our webinar to learn on how XRD helps to maintain strict quality criteria in the cement production.
