Dr. Lixiang graduated from China Agricultural University, receiving his education and carrying out researches on Virology and Immunology. After that, he Joined China Animal Husbandry Group in Jul. 2013, firstly served as an export specialist working on CAHG home produced API(active pharmaceutical ingredients).

With his strong life science background, Dr. Lixiang has provided extensive technical support to the local laboratories of animal husbandry enterprises, especially after the outbreak of African Swine Fever in China.

Dr. Marimuthu Swaminathan holds a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine and MSc in Animal Sciences from Wageningen University, Netherlands, and has 27 years of professional experience in smallholder livestock and dairy development programs within India, and other South and Central Asian countries. Presently working with BAIF Development Research Foundation as Program Director and coordinating a research project on the application of genomics in cattle and buffalo genetic improvement and genomics-based animal health diagnostics applied to the Indian livestock sector. He is also associated with the FAO-World Bank collaborative projects as a Livestock Consultant.
