YES1 is a recombinant human protein kinase that is a member of the SRC family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases and is the cellular homolog of the Yamaguchi sarcoma virus oncogene. It is involved in the regulation of cell growth and survival, including roles in apoptosis, cell-cell adhesion, cytoskeleton remodeling, and differentiation.
• Active—this protein can be used in kinase activity assays, such as Z’-LYTE™ assays, or in a binding assay platform like the LanthaScreen™ Eu Kinase Binding Assay (KBA).
• Purified—purity is determined by gel electrophoresis and provided in lot-specific certificate of analysis (COA).
• GST-tagged—provides animal origin flexibility. When used in the KBA platform, it can be paired with a goat- or rabbit-derived Eu-anti-GST antibody.

50 mM Tris pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% Triton X-100, 0.5 mM EDTA, 2 mM DTT, 50% glycerol.
For maximum recovery please spin prior to use. Aliquoting the 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes of kinase is not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots; aliquots below 20 µL are not recommended. Never store a kinase diluted. If properly stored at -80°C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase.
