TMEM192 Antibody (A302-599A-T) in IP
Detection of human TMEM192 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TMEM192 antibody A302-599A used for IP at 10 µg/mg lysate. TMEM192 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-TMEM192 antibody BL8426, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated TMEM192, A302-599A was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
TMEM192 is a widely expressed, four transmembrane protein that localizes to late endosomal/lysosomal membranes. This localization is mediated by two dileucine motifs present at the amino-terminus of TMEM192. A cysteine residue near the carboxy residue is responsible for disulfide bond formation in TMEM192 homodimers. Little is known about the function of this protein.
