Samples treated with the ExoSAP-IT and ExoSAP-IT Express reagents produced very similar sequencing results and the correct identification results.
Yes. The unit sizes available range from 480 to 2,000 reactions (https://www.thermofisher.com/order/catalog/product/75001.1.EA).
The minimum reaction volume is 5 µL. The reaction volume should be brought to at least 5 µL with distilled water before adding to the 8-well strips.
Strips should be used within 2 weeks of opening. We recommend storing unused strips from the 96-well plate holder, in the foil package, sealing and storing at 4 degrees C.
Here are the storage conditions:
-ExoSAP-IT Express Reagent: Store at -5 to -30 degrees C
-MicroSEQ ID Ultra Sequencing Clean-up Plate: Store at 2-8 degrees C in a non-frost free freezer
It is shipped on wet or dry ice.
It is Cat. No. A35852.
Here are the components:
-ExoSAP-IT Express Reagent (one tube, sufficient for 100 reactions)
-MicroSEQ ID Ultra Sequencing Clean-up Plate (one 96-well plate, sufficient for 96 reactions)
Yes, ExoSAP-IT Express Reagent cannot digest primer-dimers because they are double-stranded.
The difference is in the incubation time. ExoSAP-IT Reagent has a 15 min incubation step at 37 degrees C and another 15 min incubation at 80 degrees C. ExoSAP-IT Express Reagent has a total 5 min protocol with a 4 min incubation step at 37 degrees C followed by a 1 min incubation at 80 degrees C.
