I am having problems with evaporation when using an adhesive seal. What do you recommend?

To prevent evaporation when using adhesive seals, firm application pressure must be applied to establish robust adhesive contact and bond strength around well rims. Adhesive seals such as ABsolute qPCR Seal (Cat. No. AB-1170) require sufficient pressure due to their non-tacky, pressure-sensitive adhesive. Adhesive Seal Applicator (Cat. No. AB-1391) or a similar tool may be used for optimal application of the seals. Alternatively, we recommend Thermo Scientific VersiCap Mats which show low sample evaporation with the performance of a cap. VersiCap Mats (Cat. Nos. AB-1810, AB-1815, AB-1820) offer comparable convenience and are easier to apply uniformly than adhesive seals.
