Immunogen sequence: EDLKPQHRRHISIR
Reconstitution: 50 uL double distilled water (DDW). The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, it should be stored at -20C. The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, small aliquots should be stored at -20C. Avoid multiple freezing and thawing. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 x g 5 min).
Target Information
The SLC25 gene family encodes mitochondrial carriers that transport a variety of metabolites across the inner mitochondrial membrane (Palmieri, 2004 ). SLC25A22, also known as GC1, is 1 of the 2 mitochondrial glutamate/H+ symporters, the other being SLC25A18.
