If I am not using zoom scan on an Ion Trap mass spectrometry instrument, do I still need to calibrate it?

No. However, it is a good idea to calibrate all scan settings at least once a year. In this way, if the zoom scan setting is used in the future, it will be reasonably easy to calibrate at that time.
