ORC3 Antibody (MA5-17024) in IP
Immunoprecipitation of ORC in nuclear extracts of Raji or Hela cells as shown. Immunoprecipitation was performed with ORC complex specific antibodies followed by Western blotting. Samples were incubated with ORC1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-17025), ORC2 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-17023), and ORC3 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-17024). ORC proteins are immunoprecipitated as a complex, and individual proteins can then be identified by WB.

The MA5-17024 immunogen is ORC3 (hsORC) produced in P3-x63Ag.8.653 cells.
Target Information
Histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2), or transcriptional regulator homolog RPD3 L1, is highly homologous to the yeast transcription factor RPD3 (reduced potassium dependency 3) gene. As in yeast, human HDA2 is likely to be involved in regulating chromatin structure during transcription. It has been implicated to associate with YY1, a mammalian zinc-finger transcription factor, which negatively regulates transcription by tethering RPD3 to DNA as a cofactor. This process is highly concerved from yeast to human.
