Target Information
Human IgG, also known as human immunoglobulin G, is an antibody that is produced by the immune system in response to antigens. It is the most abundant immunoglobulin in the blood and plays a key role in defense against pathogens. IgG works by binding to specific antigens and promoting their clearance from the body through various mechanisms, including phagocytosis and complement activation. IgG is also involved in other immune responses, such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and neutralization of toxins.
