JNK2 Antibody (MA5-52091) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of JNK2 in Hela cells. Samples were incubated with JNK2 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-52091) using a dilution of 1:60 at 37°C 1 hour followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat Anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody (green). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilized with 1% Triton X-100 in PBS, and blocked with 10% serum. Counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and Nucleus.

MAPK9 (JNK2) is a serine/threonine kinase which plays an important role in the MAPK pathway. JNK2 (p54a, SAPK1a), along with JNK1 and JNK3, is thought to play an important role in nuclear signal transduction through its environmental stress activation and subsequent phosphorylation of the nuclear transcription factor p53.
