DVL2 Antibody (MA5-56493) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of DVL2 with NIH/3T3 cells. Cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde (20 min, room temp), permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS (5 min, room temp), then blocked with 1% BSA in 10% negative goat serum (1 hr, room temp). Next they were incubated with DVL2 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-56493)at a dilution of 1:100 in 1% BSA in PBST overnight at 4 &(8)451;. Followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L at a dilution of 1:1,000. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue).

Target Information
Disheveled DVL2 is a member of the dishevelled (dsh) protein family. The vertebrate dsh proteins have approximately 40% amino acid sequence similarity with Drosophila dsh. This gene encodes a 90-kD protein that undergoes posttranslational phosphorylation to form a 95-kD cytoplasmic protein, which may play a role in the signal transduction pathway mediated by multiple Wnt proteins. The mechanisms of dishevelled function in Wnt signaling are likely to be conserved among metazoans.
