Immunocytochemical staining of NDUFC2 in HepG2 cells using NDUFC2 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-57105) at a 1:1,1000 dilution. Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; NDUFC2 was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor® 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: High. Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
