PDE4D Antibody (MA5-57155) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemical staining of PDE4D in HepG2 cells using PDE4D Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-57155) at a 1:1,1000 dilution. Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; Phosphodiesterase 4D was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor® 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: Medium. Scale bar: 20 μm.

Target Information
This gene encodes one of four mammalian counterparts to the fruit fly 'dunce' gene. The encoded protein has 3',5'-cyclic-AMP phosphodiesterase activity and degrades cAMP, which acts as a signal transduction molecule in multiple cell types. This gene uses different promoters to generate multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode functional proteins.
