ACSL1 Antibody (MA5-58013) in WB
Western blot analysis of ACSL1 in Rat liver lysates (25 µg/lane). Samples were incubated overnight at 4°C with ACSL1 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-58014) using a dilution of 1:9, 000. Followed by a HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Secondary Antibody at 1:10,000 dilution. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST; Exposure: 90 seconds.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is an isozyme of the long-chain fatty-acid-coenzyme A ligase family. Although differing in substrate specificity, subcellular localization, and tissue distribution, all isozymes of this family convert free long-chain fatty acids into fatty acyl-CoA esters, and thereby play a key role in lipid biosynthesis and fatty acid degradation.
