For reconstitution, add sterile, distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of 1 mg/mL. Gently shake to solubilize the protein completely. Do not vortex. Reconstituted products should be stored at -80 °.
The Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide Receptor (CGRPR) primarily refers to the receptor complex involving the gene CALCRL (calcitonin receptor-like receptor) and the receptor activity-modifying protein (RAMP1). This complex is vital in the transmission of signals for the peptide hormone calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP). CALCRL is located on chromosome 2 and is part of the G protein-coupled receptor family. The functional receptor is significant in mediating vascular smooth muscle cell relaxation and is thus involved in various physiological responses, including vasodilation, pain transmission, and neurogenic inflammation. The receptor’s activation by CGRP plays an essential role in migraine pathophysiology by promoting vasodilation and influencing pain signaling pathways.
