Carbonic Anhydrase II Antibody (PA5-51598) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescence analysis of Carbonic Anhydrase II was performed using 70% confluent log phase A-431 cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 15 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 45 minutes at room temperature. The cells were labeled with Carbonic Anhydrase II Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-51598) at 1:100 dilution in 0.1% BSA, i... Target Information

CA2 is one of several (at least 7) isozymes of carbonic anhydrase. Carbonic anhydrase catalyzes reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Defects in this enzyme are associated with osteopetrosis and renal tubular acidosis.
