PPP2R3B Antibody (PA5-101874) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of PPP2R3B in HepG2 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with PPP2R3B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-101874) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Target Information
Protein phosphatase 2 is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases and is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. Protein phosphatase 2 holoenzymes are heterotrimeric proteins composed of a structural subunit A, a catalytic subunit C, and a regulatory subunit B. The regulatory subunit is encoded by a diverse set of genes that have been grouped into the B/PR55, B'/PR61, and B''/PR72 families. These different regulatory subunits confer distinct enzymatic specificities and intracellular localizations to the holozenzyme. The product of this gene belongs to the B'' family. The B'' family has been further divided into subfamilies. The product of this gene belongs to the beta subfamily of regulatory subunit B''. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
