Western Blot using SCML2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-80999) at 1:500 dilution. Lane A: Hela Whole Cell Lysate, Lane B: 293T Whole Cell Lysate, Lane C: Jurkat Whole Cell Lysate. Lysates/proteins at 30 μg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti- RabbitIgG H&L (DyLight™ 800) at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the Odyssey technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 77 kDa. Observed band size: 70 kDa. (We are unsure of the identity of these extra bands).

Target Information
SCML2 is a putative component of a Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein complex involved in represing transcription of homeotic genes during development. It mediates chromatin remodeling and DNA dependent negative regulation of transcription by binding to methylated lysine residues in histone tails.
