CBP Antibody (PA5-81159) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence staining of CBP in HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, blocked with 10% serum, and then incubated with CBP Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-81159, 1:1,000)(Figure A) or CBP Polyclonal Antibody and antigen (Figure B) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and nucleus.

This antibody has specificity for Human CBP/CREBBP.
Target Information
CBP for CREB-binding protein is a 265 kDa nuclear protein which probably has many of the properties expected of a CREB co-activator. It shows substantial sequence homology with p300.
