Western blot analysis of NDP in PC-3 cells. Samples were incubated with NDP Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-96013) using a dilution of 1:700, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 180s.

Target Information
NDP (Norrie disease protein), also known as norrin, is a secreted signaling protein encoded by the NDP gene that activates the canonical Wnt/β-catenin pathway by binding the Frizzled-4 (FZD4)/LRP5 receptor complex. It plays an essential role in retinal vascular development, maintenance of the blood-retina barrier, and inner ear vascularization. Loss-of-function variants in NDP cause Norrie disease and can also contribute to familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR).
