SIN3B Antibody (PA5-99718) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of SIN3B in human pancreatic cancer. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with SIN3B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-99718) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total Sin3B.
Target Information
Acts as a transcriptional repressor. Interacts with MXI1 to repress MYC responsive genes and antagonize MYC oncogenic activities. Interacts with MAD-MAX heterodimers by binding to MAD. The heterodimer then represses transcription by tethering SIN3B to DNA. Also forms a complex with FOXK1 which represses transcription.
