Heat Stable Recombinant Human bFGF (also known as fibroblast growth factor-basic, FGF-basic, FGF-β, or FGF2) is a full-length protein (containing 155 amino acid residues) that has been engineered for greater stability in cell culture conditions. It sustains ≥80% activity at 37°C for at least 72 hours compared to native bFGF, which has a half-life of <8 hours at 37°C.
