LYN (v-yes-1 Yamaguchi sarcoma viral related oncogene homolog) is a SRC family kinase expressed predominantly in hematopoietic, neural, liver, and adipose tissue. It is a protein-coding gene and is associated with diseases such as alexia and chorea-acanthocytosis. Activation of LYN has been shown to lead to imatinib resistance in CML patients. LYN B and the slightly shorter LYN A are the two isoforms of LYN. An important paralog of this gene is FRK. The full length LYN A protein enables researchers to study important mechanisms underlying disease.
• Increase disease relevance by interrogating a purified and active full-length LYN A reagent
• Uncover novel compounds or hits specific to the full length form
• Advance your research using the full-length protein and validated assays
