This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-84028. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein belonging to the GTP-binding superfamily and to the immuno-associated nucleotide (IAN) subfamily of nucleotide-binding proteins. In humans, IAN subfamily genes are located in a cluster at 7q36.1. Two transcript variants, one protein-coding and the other probably non-protein-coding, have been found for this gene.
