Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (73%), Rat (73%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-52321. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The ZKSCAN1 gene encodes a transcriptional regulator of the KRAB. Transcriptional regulatory proteins containing tandemly repeated zinc finger domains are thought to be involved in both normal and abnormal cellular proliferation and differentiation. See ZNF91 (MIM 603971) for general information on zinc finger proteins.
