Ce produit de gaine reformulé remplace le liquide de gaine xMAP d’origine ( Réf. 4050015). La nouvelle formulation du produit de gaine propose un mélange de trois conservateurs au lieu d’un seul afin d’améliorer la stabilité de l’acheminement et de réduire la probabilité d’une future résistance microbienne acquise.

What is the difference between xMAP Sheath Concentrate PLUS, RUO and xMAP Sheath Fluid Plus?

xMAP Sheath Concentrate PLUS, RUO (Cat. No. 4050023) is a 20X concentrated version of xMAP Sheath Fluid Plus (Cat. No. 4050021). It needs to be diluted before use.

xMAP Sheath Concentrate PLUS, RUO (Cat. No. 4050023) is a reformulation of xMAP Sheath Fluid Concentrate (Cat. No. 4050018). The formulation is updated from a single preservative to a mixture of three preservatives to allow for greater transit stability and to reduce the likelihood of future acquired microbial resistance.

Will there be any differences in performance of my instrument(s) when switching over to xMAP Sheath Fluid Plus from the original xMAP Sheath Fluid?

In-house testing has been done to confirm that assays deliver expected results when using xMAP Sheath Fluid Plus. White Paper is available upon request from Technical Support (techsupport@thermofisher.com).

What is the advantage of xMAP Sheath Fluid Plus over the original xMAP Sheath Fluid?

xMAP Sheath Fluid Plus (Cat. No. 4050021) replaces the original xMAP Sheath Fluid (Cat. No. 4050015). The new sheath formulation is updated from a single preservative to a mixture of three preservatives, specifically, sodium azide, sodium benzoate and diazolidinyl urea. This allows for greater transit stability and reduces the likelihood of future acquired microbial resistance.
