Applications
Le 2,6-dibromophénol est utilisé dans la production de 3,4,5-triméthoxybenzaldéhyde et de -2(2,6-dibromophénoxy)bromure d’éthyle.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’éthanol et l’éther. Légèrement soluble dans l’eau.

Remarques
Incompatible avec les chlorures acides, les anhydrides acides et les agents oxydants.
