Description
Diethyl acetylenedicarboxylate is used as a protein cross-linker. It is also used in the synthesis of 3,4,5-trisubstituted 2(5H)-furanone derivatives, highly functionalized thiazolidinone derivatives, novel cyclic peroxide glucosides and 4,11-dimesitylbisanthene, soluble bisanthene derivative, via Diels-Alder reaction.

Applications
L’acétylène dicarboxylate d’éthyle est utilisé comme agent de liaison protéique. Il est également utilisé dans la synthèse de dérivés de 3,4,5-2(5H)-furanone trisubstituée, de dérivés de la thiazolidinone hautement fonctionnalisés, de nouveaux glucosides de peroxyde cyclique, de 4,11-dimesitylbisanthène et de dérivés solubles du bisanthène via la réaction de Diels-Alder.
Solubilité
Soluble dans l’éthanol, dans l’éther éthylique, dans le CCl4 et insoluble dans l’eau.
Remarques
Stockez à 4°C. Protégez-le de la chaleur. Conserver à l’abri des oxydants. Incompatible avec les acides forts et les bases fortes.
