Description

1-Bromo-2-chloroethane was used in regio- and diastereoselective synthesis of 2-alkylidenetetrahydrofurans. 1-Bromo-2-chloroethane is used as a solvent and as an intermediate for organic synthesis. It is used as a as fumigant.

Applications
Le 1-bromo-2-chloroéthane a été utilisé dans la synthèse régio- et diastéréosélective de 2-alkylidenetrahydrofuranes. Le 1-bromo-2-chloroéthane est utilisé comme solvant et comme intermédiaire pour la synthèse organique. Il est utilisé comme fumigant.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau (7 g/l [20°C]). Soluble dans l’éthanol, l’éther éthylique, le chloroforme.

Remarques
Sensible à la lumière. Garder le récipient bien fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Conserver à l’écart des agents oxydants forts.
