Description

1,6-Dibromohexane is used as a reagent in the synthesis of novel benzo[b]xanthone derivatives which have a potential antitumor activity. It is also used as a cross-linker for the cross-linking of glycuronans.

Applications
Le 1,6-dibromohexane est utilisé comme réactif dans la synthèse de nouveaux dérivés benzo[b]xanthone qui ont une activité antitumorale potentielle. Il est également utilisé comme agent de réticulation pour la réticulation des glycuronanes.

Solubilité
Miscible avec l’éthanol, l’éther, le benzène et le chloroforme. Immiscible avec l’eau.
