Description

Manganese(II) sulfate monohydrate acts as a colorant in dyes. It is used in the preparation of manganese and manganese dioxide. It finds application for remediation of manganese-deficient soil. It is also used in dry-cell batteries.

Applications
Le sulfate de manganèse(II) monohydraté agit comme colorant dans les teintures. Il est utilisé pour la préparation du manganèse et du dioxyde de manganèse. Il est utilisé pour l’assainissement des sols déficients en manganèse. Il est également utilisé pour les batteries à piles sèches.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau et l’alcool. Insoluble dans l’éther.

Remarques
Il perd toute ses molécules d’eau à 400-450°. Hygroscopique. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts.
