Description
Iron(III) triflate is used as an efficient catalyst in the synthesis of 2,3-unsaturated-O-glycosides from 2,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-D-glucal. It is also involved in the synthesis of a variety of beta-enamino ketones and esters.

Applications
Le triflate de fer(III) est utilisé comme catalyseur efficace dans la synthèse des 2,3-O-glycosides-non saturés à partir de 2,4,6-tri-O-acétyl-D-glucal. Il est également impliqué dans la synthèse d’une variété de cétones et d’esters bêta-énamino.
Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau, le méthanol et l’acétonitrile.
Remarques
Sensible à l’humidité. Garder le récipient bien fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts.
