Diacetin is widely used as plasticizer. It has been used to design and evaluate gliclazide push-pull osmotic pump (PPOP) coated with aqueous colloidal polymer dispersions.

Applications

Entièrement miscible dans l’eau.
Remarques
Hygroscopique. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants.
