PLSCR2 Antibody (TA810855) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY PLSCR2 (RC214936, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-PLSCR. Positive lysates LY412529 (100 µg) and LC412529 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Target Information
May mediate accelerated ATP-independent bidirectional transbilayer migration of phospholipids upon binding calcium ions that results in a loss of phospholipid asymmetry in the plasma membrane. May play a central role in the initiation of fibrin clot formation, in the activation of mast cells and in the recognition of apoptotic and injured cells by the reticuloendothelial system.; FUNCTION: Isoform 1 has no prospholipid scramblase activity, due to the lack of a N-terminal proline-rich domain.
