UQCRC1 Antibody (459140) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of UQCRC1 was performed on HCT116 cells using a UQCRC1 Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 459140). The cells were 100% methanol fixed for 5 minutes at room temperature and then incubated in 1%BSA, 10% normal goat serum, 0.3M glycine in 0.1% PBS-Tween for 1 hour at room temperature to permeabilize the cells and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. UQCRC1 encodes a product that is a component of the ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex (complex III or cytochrome b-c1 complex), which is part of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. This protein may mediate formation of the complex between cytochromes c and c1.
