GPR98 Antibody (703513) in IHC
Sections of the Human Cerebral cortex were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid and incubated with Anti-GPR98 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 703513, 1:500 dilution). Sections were then sequentially treated with biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and AB solution. Sections were then developed in AEC and lightly counterstained with hematoxylin. Note, strong punctate staining in association with neuronal cell bodies. Inset, peptide neutralization control.

Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the G-protein coupled receptor superfamily. The encoded protein contains a 7-transmembrane receptor domain, binds calcium and is expressed in the central nervous system. Mutations in this gene are associated with Usher syndrome 2 and familial febrile seizures. Several alternatively spliced transcripts have been described.
