          CRHR1 Antibody (720290) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescence was performed on HEK-293 cells transfected with CRHR1 expression plasmid. 24 hours post transection, cells were fixed and permeabilized for detection of CRHR1 using Anti-CRHR1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Product # 720290, 2 µg/mL) and labeled with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugate (Product # A27034, 1:2000). Panel a) shows representative cells that were stained for detection and localization of CRHR1 protein (green), Panel b) is stained for nuclei (blue) using ... Product Specific Information

These Polyclonal antibodies are of rabbit origin developed by immunizing animals with proteins or peptides. The polyclonal antibody is purified by affinity purification from the rabbit sera generated after immunizing the rabbits with a specific type of protein or peptide. The purified antibody is tested for its functionality in various relevant research applications. The antibody is developed for Research Use Only and is non-hazardous or non-infectious in nature.

This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Pig, Rat and Mouse.

          Target Information

Corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (CRFR1/CRHR1), a Corticotropin-Releasing Factor Receptor, is involved in mediating the stress response and anxiety-related behaviors. Mutations of the receptor reduce anxiety-related behaviors and may be involved in the pathogenesis of Cushing disease. Multiple isoforms of CRFR1 are produced by alternative splicing. CRFR1 has been reported to be expressed in the pituitary, adrenal gland, brain, colon, ovary, placenta, testis, white blood cells, and skin. ESTs have been isolated from human brain, eye, colon, and embryo libraries.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
