Detection of human PPP4R3 Alpha by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PPP4R3 alpha antibody BL3120 (Product # A300-839A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. PPP4R3 alpha was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PPP4R3 alpha antibody BL3121 (Product #A300-840A), which recognizes a downstream epitope. Target Information
Regulatory subunit of serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 4. May regulate the activity of PPP4C at centrosomal microtubule organizing centers. The PPP4C-PPP4R2-PPP4R3A PP4 complex specifically dephosphorylates H2AFX phosphorylated on 'Ser-140' (gamma-H2AFX) generated during DNA replication and required for DNA DSB repair.
