SMG9 Antibody (A302-211A) in IP
Detection of human SMG9 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SMG9 antibody (Product # A302-211A) used for IP at 10 µg/mg lysate. SMG9 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SMG9 antibody A302-210A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated SMG9, A302-210A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 1 seconds.

Target Information
This gene encodes a T cell adaptor protein, a class of intracellular molecules with modular domains capable of recruiting additional proteins but that exhibit no intrinsic enzymatic activity. The encoded protein contains a unique N-terminal region followed by a PH domain and C-terminal SH3 domain. Along with the adhesion and degranulation-promoting adaptor protein, the encoded protein plays a critical role in inside-out signaling by coupling T-cell antigen receptor stimulation to the activation of integrins.
