          AKAP9 Antibody (MA1-803) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescent analysis of AKAP450 in NIH-3T3 cells. Cells were grown on chamber slides and fixed with formaldehyde prior to staining. Cells were probed without (control) or with a AKAP450 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA1-803) at a dilution of 1:100 overnight at 4 C, washed with PBS and incubated with a DyLight-488 conjugated secondary antibody (Product # 35503). AKAP450 staining (green), F-Actin staining with Phalloidin (red) and nuclei with DAPI (blue) is shown. Images were taken at 60X magnification. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Product Specific Information

MA1-803 detects the AKAP450 in human and mouse cells.

MA1-803 has been successfully used in Immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence procedures.

          The MA1-803 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues Q(31) F R Q R K A Q S D G Q S P S(45) of human AKAP450.

          Target Information

The A-kinase anchor proteins are a group of structurally diverse proteins which have the common function of binding to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A and confining the holoenzyme to discrete locations within the cell. This gene encodes a member of the AKAP family. Alternate splicing of this gene results in at least two isoforms that localize to the centrosome and the Golgi apparatus, and interact with numerous signaling proteins from multiple signal transduction pathways. These signaling proteins include type II protein kinase A, serine/threonine kinase protein kinase N, protein phosphatase 1, protein phosphatase 2a, protein kinase C-epsilon and phosphodiesterase 4D3.
