PYCR1 Antibody (MA5-27523) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded adenocarcinoma of human breast tissue. To expose target proteins, heat-induced epitope retrieval by 10mM citric buffer, pH6.0, 100°C for 10min. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a PYCR1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-27523) at a dilution of 1:500.

Target Information
This gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the NAD(P)H-dependent conversion of pyrroline-5-carboxylate to proline. This enzyme may also play a physiologic role in the generation of NADP(+) in some cell types. The protein forms a homopolymer and localizes to the mitochondrion. Alternate splicing results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
