5T4 Antibody (MA5-60769) in Flow
Flow cytometry of 5T4 in MCF7 cells. Samples were incubated with 5T4 Recombinant Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-60769) using a dilution of 1:100 (red line) followed by FITC-conjugated Goat Anti-human IgG(H+L) at a 1:200 dilution for 35 min at 4°C. 10% normal goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1 µg/10^6 cells) for 45 min at 4°C. Control antibody (green line) was human IgG (1 µg/10^6 cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10,000 events was performed.

Target Information
This gene encodes a leucine-rich transmembrane glycoprotein that may be involved in cell adhesion. The encoded protein is an oncofetal antigen that is specific to trophoblast cells. In adults this protein is highly expressed in many tumor cells and is associated with poor clinical outcome in numerous cancers. Alternate splicing in the 5' UTR results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2009].
