Product Specific Information
Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Biotin is a water-soluble B complex vitamin, generally classified as Vitamin B7. It is required by all organisms and can only be synthesized by bacteria, yeasts, molds, algae, and some plant species. Biotin is required for incorporation of carbon dioxide into organic compounds and exhibits a MW of ~244 Da.
