          mGluR1/mGluR5 Antibody (PA1-4663) in WB

Western blot of mGluR1/mGluR5 in HEK 293 cells (10 µg). Using a mGluR1/mGluR5 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-4663) it recognizes both mGluR5 (lane 1) and mGluR1a (lane 2), showing specific immunolabeling of a band at ~125 kDa corresponding to the monomer and a ~250 kDa band corresponding to the dimers for both receptors. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with human and mouse based on 100% sequence homology.

This antibody is specific for the ~125 kDa monomer and the ~250 kDa dimmers of mGluR5 and mGluR1 in Western blots of rat brain extracts. Immunolabeling blocked by preadsorption of antibody with the peptide used to generate the antibody.

          Target Information

may play a role in synaptic transmission; may interact with mGluR1, another group I metabotropic glutamate receptor.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
