          RRAGC Antibody (PA5-101820) in ICC/IF

          Immunocytochemistry analysis of RRAGC in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with RRAGC polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-101820) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies.           Antibody detects endogenous levels of total RRAGC.

          Target Information

          RRAGC (Ras-related GTP-binding protein C) is a monomeric guanine nucleotide-binding protein that plays a crucial role in the cellular response to amino acid availability through regulations of the mTORC1 signaling cascade. RRAGC forms a heterodimer with RRAGA and RRAGB and is primarily localized to the cytoplasm. It cycles between an inactive GTP-bound and an active GDP-bound form. RRAGC, in its active form, participates in the re-localization of mTORC1 to the lysosomes and its subsequent activation by the GTPase RHEB. This re-localization is a crucial step in the activation of the TOR signaling cascade by amino acids.
