DNA Ligase III Antibody (PA5-102510) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded DNA Ligase III in human gastric tissue. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with DNA Ligase III polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-102510) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total DNA Ligase III.
Target Information
There are four distinct ligase proteins found in mammalian cells. The activity of these DNA ligases is required for the joining of DNA strand breaks that occur during DNA replication, repair and recombination. DNA Ligase III gene product migrates as a 100 kDa (a-form) protein in somatic tissues, is ubiquitously expressed and complexes with XRCC-1 and a 97 kDa (beta form) protein that is found in testis. DNA Ligase III is involved in rejoining DNA single-strand breaks and in the base excision repair pathway.
